Lenny's Biography

I'm Lenny Moki Brezee. I'm a proud father of 4 keki (children), Kino Ikaika Kalei O' Manu who is 10, Kiani Naleiolani O' Ku'u Pu'uwai who is 8, Kaisen Kekoa Brezee who is 5, and Kaila Ann Puanani Brezee who is 3. I was born on the island of Oahu and raised partially on east side in Manawili, were my great grandmother used to live, and Waimanalo, were a grandmother still lives. Untill about 8 years of age, my mother and I ended up moving to Hilo, on the Big Island of Hawaii, were I spent the rest of my childhood days until about the 10th grade at Hilo High School. It was 1994 when we moved to the island of Kauai were I finished high school and graduated from Kauai High School. I got into music at the age of 18 prior to being a very troubled kid. It was kind of amazing how i got into playing music... Well... there was a point in my life where I spend a little time in jail. I was released on supervised release were I had an ankle bracelet which I had to keep on 24 hours a day. One day, being bored out of my mind, for some reason I rememberd that I had an ukulele sitting in my closet. It was cracked and sounded terrible, but it played. So I strummed and strummed that ukulele like Jake Shimabokuru (Yeah Right). 'Til this day, I'm still strumming. Never stopped. And I can honestly say that besides having my family, music really changed my life. And when I play music, it comes from my heart. So I hope that our bands and I can be a part of your special day or event.
